Our Business

I started my journey as a chef working at various establishments, ranging from a traditional country pub to a bistro. I have travelled to France and Switzerland, spending time working in these countries, using fresh, local ingredients to produce great tasting food.

Knowing where our food comes from is a big part of what we do so rearing my own livestock became a reality not just a dream.

We kept the pigs in our orchard feeding them on the fallen apples ready to be turned into homemade sausages, faggots and hams.

From this passion of rearing our own pigs, we decided to create a hog roast business, North Nibley Hog Roasts. The company was created in the summer of 2013 using hand reared or locally sourced pigs. We feel it is important to support and use local suppliers so all our bread come from local bakeries, made fresh on the day for each event. Our apple sauce is made from our very own apple orchard located in North Nibley. To complete a tasty hog roast, our stuffing is made from using fresh ingredients and is never from a pre-packaged bag!

Since our drive and determination to create a reliable and honest hog roast company, serving all events such as birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and also many wedding venues, the business has grown and grown with popularity. We were also awarded a 5 star hygiene rating in 2017
